John Foster is a country singer and songwriter from Addis, Louisiana. As the American Idol Season 23 runner-up, he brought a national audience to traditional country, and he's turned that into a touring career that's already selling out venues across the country.

John made his Grand Ole Opry debut to a standing ovation and now performs there on a monthly basis, on pace to top 30 Opry appearances by the end of 2026. He's shared that stage with legends like Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Bill Anderson, and Brooks & Dunn, and on the road he's opened for major headliners including Hank Williams Jr., Clint Black, and Lainey Wilson.

A co-valedictorian of Brusly High School, John has always taken pride in hard work, both on and off the stage. He's been mentored by artists including Miranda Lambert, Josh Groban, Jelly Roll, James Taylor, and Fantasia, each leaving a lasting mark on his artistry. His sound leans heavily on '80s country, with '90s country woven in too, and it still shapes everything he writes and sings today.
